Just say your cruising down the street in your tiny eco friendly car…and out of nowhere a bus slams in the side of you….you’re DONE…there’s really not much car to protect you…I mean I saw this one tiny car and the guy was damn near sitting on the dashboard with his head a couple of inches from the windshield…what protection does he really have if he looses control and slams into a light pole??? Do you agree or disagree…keep in mind I know people aren’t hauling ass down the streets in those things…but who’s to say how people are driving around you in these big SUV’s …740 ils….buses…oh god not to mention if a train hits it….

Another barrier, Mr. Smith said, lies in the batteries for so-called plug-in hybrids, which require more powerful batteries that charge more quickly than the current generation of hybrid batteries.
Are they really for green vehicles? or is it really for Public Relations purposes? ‘Cause if you think about it, if they developed this technology then sales would go to the eco-friendly cars rather than their petrol cars.
can anyone give me two different but really good reasons why cars should be made eco friendly?
I don’t mean to be funny … but the economists say, "Make the car Economy Friendlly".
They shave the miles per gallon, the change the consuption, all kinds of stuff to make the air cleaner … but it seems almost as if they go very far out of the way to make the car super super super SUPER ugly.
Why then?! Take for instance this:

Now, don’t get me wrong. Mercedes has it in the bag with their C220 BLUETEC concept. 50 MPG and not too much of an eyesore.
But most of the others … it’s ridiculous. I would be embarassed to drive them.

I take the Hummer, I hope I don’t get a ticket from the "green police"
